Welcome! We're pleased that you want to become a part of our shop.

Here's how it works:

When you bring your items in, we will select what items we feel our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers' preferences must be used as our selection guidelines.

We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible price for you. A Buyers Premium is added to all merchandise. Apricot Home retains Buyers Premium.

You receive 60%** of the selling price. Commission checks will be cut at the end of each month. Consignors must come to the store to sign for their commission payment unless prior arrangements have been made.

** Non-furniture items that fall in the small home dècor category, including but not limited to: knick knacks, lamps, dishware, kitchen items, and pictures, are at a separate commission rate. You receive 50% of the selling price on these items.

Items are to be brought to us in clean condition. In the event you choose to bring in your item(s) and have not taken the time to properly clean it for display, we will charge a $25 cleaning fee.

Items are placed on the sales floor within 30 days. We will display your items for 90 days. The selling price will be reduced by 20% after the first 6 weeks. Any unsold items are to be picked up at 90 days unless prior arrangements have been agreed to by Apricot Home. If prior arrangements are not made and you fail to pick up your item(s), a storage fee of $25 per month will be assessed.

*** No item will be released without payment of storage fees due.

If you would like to retrieve any unsold items please do so by the 90th day. Call us 48 hours in advance and we will attempt to have your item(s) ready for you. If you don't wish to pick up the remaining unsold items they become the property of Apricot Home and will be disposed of.

We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for theft, damage or loss.
